I have been looking, nearly ten years, for a complete list of anime music CDs (and CD/DVD/BR combos) from Japan that include catalog numbers. If I lived in Japan, I wouldn't need this, as a good CD shop would have a computer or wall list of the upcoming material (though a backlog, not so much).
I have failed (epic-ly
), to date, to find anything close to this. Lists from the production companies (
Victor, King, Geneon, Avex, Sony, Lantis, etc.) would be acceptable, if I could get them from enough companies. And, I'm guessing, nobody in the English speaking world has compiled anything like this (why would they?). But an on-line version of a Japanese
PhonoLog would be perfect.
Does anybody know if such a beast exists, or even if there is something close?
Game and Seiyuu music CDs would also be welcome, but I haven't, until recently, found many game musics pleasing, and it's easier to follow a couple Seiyuu, or J-Rock bands, than hundreds of anime and anime-inspired CDs.
I have thousands of CDs (more than 6K at last check), but no longer have time to scour the web looking for proper titles and catalog numbers.
