I need a bit of help. 95% of the time I cannot DL a torrent on Tokyo Tosho.
When I click on a torrent, Firefox takes me to an error page where it says "Unable to connect. Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at..."
Does anyone know why this is happening? It's been going on for months now. It is only tokyotosho that I have a problem with. This happens with any type of torrent. I'm not trying to DL hentai or things of pornographic nature. Just regular anime or manga.
Please, any help would be greatly appreciated. A lot of the time, tokyo tosho is the only place I can find certain anime torrents with a decent amount of seeds.
Thanks very much in advance.

Tools/Clear Recent History; Time range to clear: Everything; Details, check: "Cookies" and "Cache". I also recommend you check to clear Browsing & Download History, but if you don't want to clear the browsing history you can clear a possible download history at ctrl+J or Tools/Downloads and "Clear List".
You should also update Firefox to the newest version unless you already have it. After all this restart Firefox. You can also try to update your BitTorrent client, or changing the client. Of English language clients I can recommend BitComet (recent experience), Xunlei (not sure of the current state) and Vuze (not sure of the current state either). But if it only happens here, I think it's unlikely that the problem is due to you BitTorrent client.
If none of this works, I suggest you try with another web browser and see if it works there. If it does, that means the problem is with Firefox (I still recommend clearing the cookies and cache register). You can try deleting unnecessary and suspicious add-ons (Tools/Add-ons). It's also good to have another browser (if you don't already have another one) in case something happens to your main browser.
At least I don't have the same problem, so I doubt the fault is with the site. I hope any of this helps and you can fix the problem. Good luck.

Thanks for responding. I tried everything you said, including using a different browser. I tried to DL a torrent in Internet Explorer, but the same thing happened, only the message was slightly different. When I click on a torrent, it directs me to a page that says "The web address you entered could not be found"

Tosho essentially links to torrents on other websites. It doesn't actually serve the torrents themselves. What torrents are you trying to download that's causing this error?

I did notice that it happens with all of the Nyaa torrents. I actually just noticed that today. I can't enter nyaatorrents website either. Other than those, I'm not sure if there is another pattern. I looked on my block list in my hosts list. Nyaa torrents isn't on there. I have no idea what to do to gain access.

Well I know that Nyaatorrents force people coming from Tosho to their info page even if the download link is supposedly direct. If they're all Nyaatorrent links then I'm pretty sure your problem lies between you and their server.

Thanks...that doesn't really help me solve the problem.

It says Nyaa torrents is up. And like I said in my first post, this has been going on for months. I am still unable to connect even through that link you posted.

This is what I know of my problem as it stands: 1. Ever since TT underwent its last change (i.e. changing the address to their home page and such), I have had problems DLing torrents
2. Nyaa torrents seem to be the biggest problem, even though their site is up and running smoothly. I'm apparently the only one in the world who can't connect to their site
3. There must be a setting on my computer (security or otherwise) that's causing it, or it has something to do with my IP. When it comes to IP stuff, I am a newb.
4. It has nothing to do with my chache, cookies, browsing, or download history.
5. I have not been personally banned from Nyaa torrents because I've never done anything on their site but DL torrents, and I'm a generous seeder.
6. Nyaatorrents.org is not on my computer's hosts block list.
So keeping these things in mind, if someone could offer ideas that will fix this problem for me, you'll be my personal Jesus...or something like that. I will be eternally grateful.
