Hi guys!!new here Grin

As u can see from the title, my vlc player shows the green screen when i play some particular video. I don't know what is going on whether it's my codec or whatsoever!!

I'm soooo pissed off!! i just downloaded few animes and i can't watch because of this bloody issue!!!!

The VLC works fine for the other video except for some specific file like guilty crown(with Commie subs) and Shakugan no shana Final(with SS-eclipse subs). I don't think there are any problems with the file since nobody complains about it and playable in other media player(but sometimes it stuck and occasionally has some green lines)

Can anybody help me???

you must unaware of the new Japanese broadcasting protocol. Currently and from now on anime (and other japanese tv) will be broadcasted in Hi10P or 10Bit video for higher quality. As a result Fall anime such as Guilty Crown, Shakugan no shana Final and others are in this codec also. To fix this you need to get the newest video codec update via CCCP. currently there is no convenient conversion method to convert Hi10p/10bit video to anything else unless you want a garbled video to begin with.
However there are some groups that still do .avi and 8bit mkvs. But the new standard in fansubbing will be 10bit.
Get your newest codec here if you havent already:
http://www.cccp-project.net/

and if problem still persists perhaps you should switch to MPC.
