Well a few days a go i updated my media player classic to 6.4.9.1 ver. a new one just release a month ago. Then i have trouble making Screenshots and Thumb nails lol. the error i got was

GetCurrentImage failed, hr = 8000ffff <--scratching my head to get into it and solve this. Coding mistake there i know but i cant fix it.

OK this what i have done.
-Uninstall CCCP codec and Re-installing it. Then test it. Effect still the same.
-Get the new MPC again and same prob still persist.
-Now i get the player i hated VLC just to be able to make thumbnails and SS. damn damn.

Any suggestion to solve this.

one guy said it could be the graphic card doing, but i dont think it is, since it was all ok with the older cccp....

Got IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Turns out the new version of MPC loads an overlay that DOESN'T support Screenshots as a default (And it says so in the options). Just pick a new overlay! (And restart).

Start MPC
Push O for options
Click Output (About halfway down).
Overay Mixer should be marked (With a * for no screenshots). Click Old Renderer (Which doesn't have a * )
Click OK
CLOSE MPC!!!! (Ok/Apply does not work here).
Start MPC with your favorite show.
Push F5 and start taking pictures to your hearts content. It puts it in My Documents BTW.

Have fun!

The key is closing MPC after changing the Overlay. Changing the Overlay during a show will still not allow Screenshots until you close the window.

Atleast that's what they said on some fora.
