Since I use windows, I find MSIE just the easiest.

For me Firefox is much more reliable and user friendly. It is way more customizable too and we can modify it to work the way we want it. I use IE too once in awhile (specifically only for windows updates >.<)

Lol, Guess I'm one of the last persons still to have to make a transfer to another explorer like firefox. I don't think I will do so anytime soon though. IE works out fine for me at the moment.

I use the new MSIE, which... is almost identicle to using Firefox (which is made by Mozilla?). We have Firefox installed but I only use it when IE won't load something.

for me the new IE7 is just a copy of firefox and it still lacks the features that firefox had. IE gives us lots of let downs as a browser which is integrated in windows. i only use ie for updates on microsoft products and sites that only allow IE to access.

I still use IE6. I does his job. I just use it to visit a couple of sites, and to browse a bit over the internet. For everything else I use other programs, so I don't need any other functions.

Like Simlim, I used IE for many years (and even started out on the old netscape browser before that). o also tried out Opera for a while. I picked up firefox a few years ago and basically haven't wanted anything else since then. It's easy to use, has more features that I use than any other browser and has some fantastic plugins which take around five seconds to install if I want them. It's still much safer than IE, though because it's so popular now it's getting more attention from the hackers (still much more robust than IE though). I keep IE on my system but it's only in case some ****py software I run has the browser hardwired to IE (it still occasioknally happens). On the few occasions I have to use IE, I don't feel safe at all, and usually run a virus check afterwards (which proved to be a wise decision on one occasion I remember).
Basically, there is no such thing as a perfectly safe browser, but some are simply better written than others.
