Quick and easy way to get in for free (Apparently) is to find someone that has pre-registered and gotten their badge.  Then, 4 or so hours later, they go back (Of course, the badge not in open view) and they say "I lost my badge, I put it down or something and it's gone" they give you another.

You then take said badge and give it to someone/charge them the pre-reg price or something

And I go on my way

Anime North has all pre-registration ConGuests all archived. For you to lose your badge, they will pull up your name and confirm it with ID that you have paid.

That also includes anyone who's paid on the spot. Registration forms are constantly being put into the system for later verification and final attendee counts.

If anything, registration will not be as stupid/stupid enough to give you an unmarked, unsigned badge.
They give you another WITH your name confirmed on the spot, and it is written so that it is both visible within and outside of the common white area/spot. For security purposes, this is done so that you cannot just put a label, white out or etc, on that spot and rewrite another person's name.

Well, I certainly didn't see that coming! I live in Toronto so I go every year, but we usually don't have too many interesting internet denizens at the con. Care for a meetup?

I have no idea what my work schedule will be like on that time so I might miss a day, but I'll try to post where I'll be whenever the full schedule comes up.

Unfortunately the shift change at work I was expecting did not occur and I am scheduled to shift across all 3 days of the con, so I think I'll be passing on this year Sad
