hi there,
after came back from otakon convention, i remembered one dude told me that there is an interesting anime; but he forgot the title.
The description he gave me was :

"In the beginning of the show, everybody died. The later shows (or episodes) tell how each of them died."

anyone know the title of this anime ?

If it had ghost dinosaurs and pissed you off because there were such good characters until they all died in the first episode then the anime is Gai-Rei Zero, my friend highly recommends it, but the first episode made me rage so hard I get mad just hearing the title now days.

I'm pretty sure you're wrong. Everyone dies during the series of Crying seaguls, in EP 1 of Gai-rei everyone DIES.

Shocked your so blunt with your words that it hurts.  Cry
Everyone is already died in ep 5 at the beginning of the series except for the main character who is solving how they died to deny the existence of beatrice i still think it is Umineko no Naku Koro ni. Tongue But i am not saying your wrong either. Wink

according to the first description... i won't count Ga Rei Zero.... since the group that died in the first ep.

the story of them were never told... just in like ep 7 said something that they were assigned to this special
unit... but never told the story of each one of them... but instead.. tell the story of the one that kill them all,
and the only one that survived of that group...

and about Umineko... can't say anything... have never seen it !!!

This doens´t really match the quote but could it be "Angel Beats!"? In that series everyone is dead and during the show it is revealed how they died. But they didn´t die all at once and thogheter though.

sounds like an interesting show to watch

i'm thinking among the lines of Basilisk, but i'm not sure if the first episode shows the death of everyone
