It seems the RSS feed is not being updated.  It is only listing 10 items total.

What is happening with the RSS Feed?  It's completely useless right now because only about 10 items are being shown anymore on it.

The RSS feed is limited to 10 items because people like to set their refresh rates to 1-5 minutes.
The beta site will have a more customizable RSS feed that can let you specify how many entries are returned at a time.

Thanks for the update.  I had my downloader software set for every couple hours so I was missing alot of new episodes in my downloader because the list of 10 was scrolling up.  If it's going to be limited to 10 for a while guess I'm going to have to set a quicker refresh too.  It would of been nice if it was at least half a day's worth so I wouldn't of missed so many episodes.   Oh well Smiley    Can't wait for the beta to go gold I love the site but still not alot of uploaders using it as primary yet but you are all doing a great job on it.  Hopefully it's going gold soon Wink  Keep up the good work.

I fail to understand the logic behind this action. Limiting the feed to such a small number of items only forces people to refresh MORE often. I used to update every 2 hours, but now I have to set it to something abusive like 10 minutes or else I'll miss a lot of them. This is completely absurd. Can't you see you are only making it worse?!

We have already tried using it with a large number of items previously and it took up about 30% of the total b/w we have.

Then why not simply ban IPs that abuse it? Just put up a big fat warning on the RSS page saying that refresh updates have to be lower than X hours, or else...

The new site will allow you to do that.

http://beta.tokyotosho.com/rss_customize.php

It's just not active yet.

Sorry about the necromancy, but this is still a problem.

I've been writing a program to feed torrents to rtorrent, and I have to make it check every five minutes or so to avoid losing anything. That's not good for neither you nor me.. probably more of a problem for you, mind you.

I thought, in any case, that I ought to mention it.
